Sunday was Simon's birthday. He's squarely in canine middle age, having been born on the numerically unique date of 9/9/99. Though getting a little long in the tooth, Simon is still the same spirited dog who came to live with us shortly after Katie and I got married. He has transitioned nicely into our expanded household, and we look forward to many more years with our beloved L.G.
